My favorite running song of the moment is an oldie but goodie: Bryan Adams Summer of '69.  The boys love this song (should I admit that?)!

Favorite non alcoholic beverage: Grown up Soda Extra Dry Ginger Ale from Fresh Market.  It is so carbonated that I cannot get enough.  It saved me while I was pregnant and deathly ill and I still love it. Drink it from a wine glass and it's even better.

I had a packet of these fuzzy grip infant hangers and discovered they are wonderful way to hang my 37 pairs of jeans (why do I never have anything to wear?).  My jeans don't slip back and forth and they are nice and neat looking.

I forgot to show you the fabulous birthday dessert I enjoyed from Watermark restaurant in the Gulch.  So delicious, a gooey butter cake with spiced pear compote and a dash of frozen chocolate.  The chef of this restaurant (Bob Waggoner) is pretty decorated and quite amazing in my humble opinion. Amazing drinks, desserts, cheeses, and wines (fabulous entrees too although we only indulged in dessert/cheese/wine). Can't wait to go back.

P.S. Did I mention I did a Sake bomb on my birthday (first one ever?) I'd love the share the youtube video of that but my husband has asked me to refrain;) Ha! It was fun.  Except that I was hungover the next day.  But then I ran into Brad Paisley at the toy store and instantly felt better.  :)

Anyone addicted to Homeland?  We are.

If you liked 24 you'll love this show.  It isn't pretty, but like I said, it's very addictive.  We watched 3 in a row last night!

How's that for random? Happily linking with my pal Shanna's amazing blog;) Happy Wednesday!

  2. I need that ginger ale! I also need a fresh market! Maybe I can get my parents to bring me some next weekend :) I started on a sparkling water kick and that is holding me over for now. I am itching to see homeland but haven't gotten around to it. Did you buy them?

  3. Oh Homeland! Love! We are almost through with the second season, and I kind of don't want it to end because then what are we going to do until season three starts?! Jim said, "Sleep!" We have been known to watch four or five episodes at once. It took us three nights to get through the first season. Ha!

That ginger ale sounds amazing. I love ginger ale and I love carbonation. Must get some now!

  10. I've been wanting to try Watermark! Goodness though, it may be another year before we actually make it out to a restaurant. Ha! And I love that you tried a sake bomb! I still have never gotten the courage to go through with one. My friends know I am weak when it comes to anything having to do with shots or bombs but give me a box of Franzia... that's another story. Let's schedule a double date night out... next year! Ha, or maybe sooner than I think after baby arrives. Great idea on the fuzzy hangers. I have got to get this place organized.

  11. I'm such a Bryan Adams fan. I like to keep it old school once in awhile. That drink looks amazing...I have never seen that brand before. I will be on the look-out.
