Scenes from Easter

Well this Easter didn't go quite as planned.  We were going to head to church and then to a dear friend's house for lunch, but my 4 year old could not shake the stomach bug. It just kept coming back. He started with it Thursday night and we hoped it would be a 24 hour thing.  On Sunday, he was still sick.  Made me so sad! So only 2 C's made it to church, but it was still special with my little man.



My sick little buddy did not feel like getting dressed.  But I still needed a picture. Snuggled on the couch...


my other sweetie with his bowtie (he LOVED wearing it)..


The Easter bunny brought them some little cars, chocolate, and games..



and they had a good time playing, one dressed in his Easter best and the other in his PJ's! Oh well, it was memorable:)


Last year's picture (because it will always be a favorite of mine). I still have big plans for the bowties though, we will definitely be shooting some belated Easter portraits this week if the weather will cooperate.

    oh dear goodness I love their Easter outfits from last year with their little knee socks and saddle oxfords! Exactly how little boys should be dressed on easter! Southernly Classic!!!! Sorry lil man was sick!!!! Hope he is feeling better today!!!

    Ohhh my goodness the bowtie is too cute for words!! I hope little man is feeling better now and the rest of the C's don't get the stomach bug- that's the worst!

    I hate that little C was sick! I hope he's feeling better now. What a cuties you have...the bow tie? My goodness! So adorable! And I'm dying over that last picture. My mom has a very similar picture of my brother. I love how they are dressed. Priceless! Hope y'all had a great Easter, aside from the stomach bug!
