Yes, why yes my friends I must confess, the movie I mentioned Monday was indeed Magic Mike.  Big surprise!  Don't know why I got all shy about it after I told the world I wanted to see it.  Um, wow, um, yes, what can I say? I'm kind of speechless! It was a fun movie to see with my gal pal and laugh until I nearly fell out of the chair. My face is still red!

Okay, moving on.  Here are 2 outfits from last week. In the second picture you'll see I finally got a full length mirror.  It is indeed helpful to see one's feet when getting dressed.  Thank you blog friends who told me I must get one at once:)


I practically sleep in this necklace and I kiss it in the morning when I wake up.  I love it!


 Quite a bit more tame I know, but I love my ON polka dot shorts! 


Mr. C made California BLT's the other night that made me drool.  Bacon, avocado, fresh tomato, spinach (we were out of iceberg), and some low fat mayo on toasted white bread.  It.was.delicious.  He puts Peter Luger sauce on his and swears it is wonderful.  Have y'all had it?  We get it at Fresh Market.  PL is a steak house in New York that Mr. C used to like (he's from NY).  It's kind of sweet with a little punch of heat.  He also met me at the door with a cold margharita.  Big points for Mr. C on Monday.




If you have a Trader Joe's close by and you like hummus, then run don't walk to buy some of this.  It's chipotle pepper hummus and it is so creamy and delicious with a hint of heat that I nearly ate an entire container in one sitting.  




And finally to wrap up random Wednesday, I got Blue-ming Color Club nail polish in my Birchbox and I like it!  I think of the Caribbean whenever I look at my toes now.

    those polka dot shorts are super CUTE!!!! and glad to hear you liked "magic mike" ...i'm shocked but my hubby wants to see it so we are having date night next week to go and see it. hope he doesn't mind that i'll probably be drooling over channing tatum the entire time ;)

    I have that necklace too and I'm obsessed with it! It goes with almost everything (I kind of want it in white as well!)

    Love your polka dot shorts and hummus is my favorite!! I was at trader joes last week and didn't see this so I guess I need to go back and find it! : )

    I totally blushed all through Magic Mike as well! (And I must confess I made my husband see it with me haha - he was a good sport, and well, I've seen my fair share of boobs in movies!). All of the ladies in the theatre were laughing and screaming, it was so fun.

    I love your nail polish color, and now I REALLY want one of those necklaces - they always look so cute with everything.

    1. I want those shorts! 2. BLT's are my favorite and I want to eat that photo something terrible. 3. Hummus is one of my favorite snacks, chipotle is one of the best flavors ever, and well Trader Joes is the bomb! Annnd 4.     I love your random posts! You always give me ideas of things I need :) I still need to see Magic Mike! I love your outfit pics, I too just got a full length mirror :) it apparently is a must for the blogging world! I love your ON shorts and need to get myself there but I am now on a spending freeze so I will live vicariously through you. That BLT looks amazing! We are FINALLY getting Trader Joe's here in Texas and the one where I live opens in October - not soon enough, I can't wait! I absolutely love your nail color, caribbean all the way!!
